3/4 Cup Butter
1/3 Cup White Sugar
1 1/3 Cup Flour
Mix thoroughly and pat into the bottom of a 9″ x 9″ cookie sheet.
Bake in a 350* oven for 18 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.
1/2 Cup butter
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 Tbsp. Syrup (I use Maple)
Stir over medium high heat, keep stirring! Don’t dtop – the caramel might burn.
Keep going until the caramel had a medium golden brown tone, and all the sugar is melted.
This can take upto 15 minutes. Just be patient, and take your time! It will be worth it in the end.
Spread over the cookie crust.
Let the caramel cool completely before you do the next step!
1 1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp. Butter
Place in a microwave safe container and melt at 30 second increments, stirring after each time. Once melted, spread with a rubber spatula over the caramel. Let cook for about 10 minutes, and then sprinkle with course sea salt.
Cut, serve, and enjoy!
